Partners For Success ®

A Focus on Long-Term School Success

360 Communities' Partners For Success®, in 25 schools from 7 school districts in Minnesota's Dakota and Scott Counties, helps students and families overcome problems that prevent a successful school experience. Partners For Success also decreases teacher time spent on non-academic issues so they can focus on what they do best: teaching.

Success in school has the long-term effect of creating self-sufficient adults. 360 Communities school-based Family Support Workers develop a trusting relationship with families and they worked with 2,935 parents and children in the 2010-2011 school year. Partners For Success Family Support Workers help parents create a home environment that encourages learning, values high achievement and prepares students for post-secondary education or a successful career.

Ensuring Measurable Results

360 Communities has contracted with the University of Minnesota's Center for Applied Research and Educational Improvement (CAREI) to design and conduct an evaluation to measure the success of Partners For Success.
